Advice For Life is a specialist resolution service. We work with people facing serious, interconnected problems — housing, debt, employment, benefits, immigration, family breakdown, health — and we stay with them until those problems are resolved.
We don’t signpost. We don’t offer a listening ear and wish you well. Our advisers take on your case, coordinate across agencies and systems, challenge decisions on your behalf, and manage the logistical burden of crisis so you can focus on getting your life back.
We work with individuals directly and through employer partnerships, delivering the same standard of expert casework and advocacy in both settings.
Advice For Life is delivered by Global Social Innovators CIC, a Community Interest Company that has been operating since 2012.

Too often, the people who need help the most are the ones the system fails. We exist to close that gap. Our integrated model means we handle the full picture — housing, debt, employment, benefits, family, health — because a crisis caused by redundancy caused by illness needs one plan, not three referrals.
See outcomesEmotional support has its place. But when someone is facing eviction or can’t feed their children, they need someone to act. We measure success by outcomes, not activity. A case isn’t closed until the problem is resolved or every avenue has been exhausted.
Our approach
Early intervention costs a fraction of crisis management. Resolving a housing issue before it becomes homelessness is better for the person and better for the public purse. We act early, stay involved, and work to prevent problems from escalating.
Every case is handled with strict confidence — nothing is shared without explicit consent. Our advisers are qualified specialists delivering case-audited, professionally supervised work. The rigour of a professional service, with the responsiveness of a team that genuinely cares.
